Frankly Podcasting exists to make podcasting feel easy and enjoyable.
We help female founders, entrepreneurs and creatives launch, grow and manage podcasts with confidence through a combination of strategy, production and personalised support. Whether you're looking for a fully managed service or want to learn how to do it yourself, our goal is to remove the overwhelm so you can focus on creating meaningful conversations that build trust and grow your business.
We believe podcasting is more than simply recording conversations. It's about building genuine connections, showing the people behind your brand, and creating content that continues working for you long after you hit publish.
As a fully remote business based in New Zealand, we partner with clients locally and around the world, becoming an extension of their team and supporting them every step of the way.

Meet Lara
AUDIO ENGINEER | PODCAST PRODUCER | COACH
Hi, I'm Lara, Founder & Lead Producer.
Podcasting brings together everything I love—storytelling, strategy, creativity and meaningful conversations.
Over the past 5+ years, I've had the privilege of helping many women (and some men!) launch, grow and manage podcasts that build trust, strengthen their brand and support their business goals.
Before running Frankly Podcasting full-time, I worked as a Studio Audio Engineer at NZME, producing broadcast-quality radio advertising and podcasts. I also hosted my own show on Radio Wānaka and voiced commercials heard across ZM, The Hits, Coast, Newstalk ZB and other NZME stations. This gave me firsthand experience both behind the microphone and behind the mixing desk. That unique combination allows me to support our clients with not only high-quality production, but also the confidence and communication skills to sound their best.
Today, I partner with clients remotely across New Zealand and around the world, helping them create podcasts they're proud of and making podcasting feel easy, strategic and genuinely enjoyable.
What are your specialties?
Podcast strategy, audio engineering, editing and mixing, sound design, music production, and coaching clients to feel confident behind the microphone.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Spending time with my daughter exploring nature or getting messy with something creative. I also love dancing, singing, hiking and travelling to new places.
What's a fun fact about you?
I've been writing songs and making music for over 20 years, play the ukulele, and will happily sing along to almost anything.
Host & Creator of Driftscape
Driftscape is a project very close to my heart. Whilst riding the wave of postpartum anxiety, I turned to sound as a healing tool. I started creating sound journeys for myself, to get out of my head and focus on something calming. I then realised creating and listening to these stories had a positive impact on my mood, breathing, emotions, and nervous system, so I knew I had to share them with others — and Driftscape was born.

Hi, I'm Aaron, Post Production Specialist.
With over 20 years' experience across television, digital media and video & audio post-production, I bring a wealth of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to every podcast we produce.
Throughout my career, I've worked on some of New Zealand's best-known television programmes, including The Project and Campbell Live, as well as documentaries, promotional videos and commercials. My passion lies in crafting polished, engaging content that connects with audiences through compelling visuals and high-quality audio.
At Frankly Podcasting, I work behind the scenes editing audio and video, enhancing sound quality and helping transform raw recordings into polished, engaging episodes, ensuring everything is delivered to the highest standard.
What are your specialties?
Podcast editing, video & audio editing, audio mixing, sound design, colour grading and long-form storytelling.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Photography, gaming, DJing and keeping up with developments in AI and emerging technology. I'm also fascinated by science, space exploration and the future of interactive entertainment.
What's a fun fact about you?
I produced, shot and edited a behind-the-scenes documentary of Elton John's New Plymouth solo concert in 2007 that became the most popular video on EltonJohn.com at the time.
